Naib Nazim Buner visits sub-jail Daggar.

Buner: The district naib Nazim-Ghulam Mustaffa advocate here on Tuesday visited the sub-jail Daggar along with the superintendent-Mohammad Saood Khan and media men.
The Naib Nazim Zilla meet all of the prisoners-200 from district Swat and 75 from Buner.
The prisoners mostly from Swat district complained that due earth quake damages in the sub-jail Swat the prisoners were shifted here and then after hearing in the courts delayed or very long dates are fixed.
While those involved in petty nature cases are also languishing in the jail for long and demanded setting hearing dates, small interval in the dates and arrangement of camp court quarterly to decide fate of the prisoners.
During the visit the prisoners pointed that the jail is in dire need of a mosque, providing a complete set of Maariful Quran, shelter with wash room for visitors, doors on wash rooms inside barracks and early placement of an electric water cooler to provide cool water during summer.
The Naib Nazim Zilla listened them very calmly and promised of contacting the district and session judges of Swat and Buner to speedup their trial and small gape in hearing dates while facility of camp court also to be discussed.
He assured that the construction related works will be discussed with the district and provincial governments and announced an electric water cooler that will be placed before the fall of summer.
meanwhile, a delegation of the remote union council of Amazai, headed by its nazim meet here the district Nazim-Hajji Rouf Khan in his office at Qadir Khan colony Daggar on Tuesday and complained that greenery of the valley in danger at the hands of timber smugglers, hands in glove with local police.
The delegation in the presence of media men handed him over written application that was carrying the complaints of continue timber smuggling in the area while the concerned quarters were playing silent role.
The delegation while stressing the accusation added that local police harass the locals when they arrange to bring timber for their domestic use.
The delegation demanded of the district Nazim to play positive his role to stop this illegal practice.
The district Nazim in the presence of the delegation contacted offices of the district forest officer and DSP Nawagai and directed them to take notice and ensure protection of the precious timbers and greenery of the area. He assured the delegation that all out efforts would be made to preserve the beauty of the area and hoped that locals will also cooperate with the district government.
